National Field Archery Association

OVERVIEW

The NFAA’s niche audience allows them to deliver specific content and function to their users. The young, active marketing team wanted a modern design to revitalize the decades-old organization.

PROJECT SUMMARY

There’s no doubt the National Field Archery Association (NFAA) had room for growth—they were still operating with their first-ever website built in the 90’s. While the first site upgrade built several years ago on Joomla made end-over-end improvements over the original, grant money allowed the NFAA to develop their site to the next level and move to WordPress.

With an established brand in place, it was important to pay homage to its roots, while still moving form and function forward. Systems were rewritten for the sake of usability for both members and NFAA staff. Navigation points were reevaluated and reassigned. Imagery was updated and optimized. Entirely new functions—such as an online store—were added.

The NFAA continues to maintain and grow the functionality offered by their website to match their ever-evolving audience. I am currently working on the third iteration of their site since I first established a relationship with this organization.
