Local authors were looking for assistance with self-publishing their book. This was my first experience with book publishing and involved a great deal of research.

PROJECT SUMMARY

The Adventures of the Murphy Twins: Book One has long been in the making. While is was authored by several sisters and illustrated many years ago, a family friend approached me about getting it published.

Book content was provided in a printed form as were the watercolor illustrations. After scanning the images and typing the content, I assembled the book in InDesign. I assisted the client through various project decisions, including cover material choices, paper stock, etc. The first printing of the book was 100 copies and has since been extended.

Since the initial book was published, I have assisted the sisters in publishing the next two books in the series.
